Leavenworth Sports Complex has one baseball and one softball synthetic field, one baseball and one softball natural grass field, and one natural grass football field.
Hear from Dave Stokka, Grounds Coordinator, Leavenworth School District about their new facility, the building process and the challenges they have faced before, during, and after construction. He will also talk about his staff, current projects, and answer any questions.
Jared Hoyle, Corteva Agriscience, will talk about herbicides and how to make sure you are picking the correct product before you seed this fall.
Matt Duncan, DLF Pickseed, will talk about how improved genetics can benefit your sports fields, how to read a seed label, and the current state of the seed industry.
We will be grilling out hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch thanks to Industrial Sales! Come hungry to learn and eat!
Pioneer Sports Complex is located adjacent to Richard Warren Middle School. Please park in the lot north of the football field.
